My Reccomendations
The Hourglass Door by Lisa Mangum is a true favorite of mine. I first discovered this book in middle school, and once I finished it, it was passed to all of my friends for their enjoyment. This is Book One in the trilogy, and it is a great beginning to a wonderful adventure.
Abby's senior year of high school is textbook perfect: She has a handsome and attentive boyfriend, good friends, good grades, and plans to attend college next year. But when she meets Dante Alexander, a foreign-exchange student from Italy, her life suddenly takes a different turn. He's mysterious and interesting, and unlike anyone, she's ever met before. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chobsky is truly one of the most inspiration feel-good novels I have read. This wonderful story takes a through a young boys life and transports you to his world. This book tugs at the heartstrings in all the right ways.

Cinder, by Marissa Meyer, is the first book in the Lunar Chronicles. This story is a new twist on the classic fairytale. However, Meyer doesn't stop at Cinderella. The Lunar Chronicles is all about taking new turns with the familiar princesses. This book begins an amazing journey through a whole new world and gives a whole new meaning to the words, "Once Upon A Time..."

Honorable Mention
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen is an all-time classic. This love story had stood the tests of time and is the most romantic love story I have come across. Austen indeed has a gift with words and emotions as you long for Elizabeth Bennett to end up with William Darcy. It is a classic that must be read and a real-life fairytale.
As well as writing, reading is a true passion of mine. My favorite novels range from classics by William Shakespeare like Romeo and Juliet and The Tempest to modern age fantasy like Harry Potter and Night World and even range to small novellas like To All The Boys I've Loved Before. I aspire to read books that fuel my imagination so that I can share them with others.
